QUOTATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. QUOTATION VALIDITY AND ACCEPTANCE
1.1 This quotation is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, prices are subject to change without notice and require written confirmation from PrintData Pty Ltd.
1.2 Acceptance of this quotation constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions in their entirety.
1.3 Any variation to these terms and conditions must be agreed in writing by PrintData Pty Ltd.
2. PRICING
2.1 All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are fixed for the validity period of thirty (30) days from the date of quotation.
2.2 Prices are as specified in the quotation, clearly indicating whether GST inclusive or GST exclusive amounts apply.
2.3 Any changes or variations to the scope of work or goods specified in this quotation will require a new quotation and written acceptance before proceeding.
3. FREIGHT AND DELIVERY
3.1 Freight and delivery charges are included in the quotation where specifically itemised.
3.2 Where freight is not included in the quotation, delivery to Perth Metropolitan area will be charged at $25.00 excluding GST.
3.3 Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and PrintData Pty Ltd is not liable for any delays in delivery.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
For Cash Customers:
4.1 Payment of 100% of the invoice amount is due net seven (7) days from the date of invoice.
For Account Customers:
4.2 Payment of 100% of the invoice amount is due as per the terms of your approved account with PrintData Pty Ltd.
For Projects Over $10,000:
4.3 Payment terms for quotations totalling above $10,000 are as follows:
- 50% deposit payable on receipt of order
- 40% payable on delivery of goods to site
- 10% payable net thirty (30) days from installation completion
5. PAYMENT METHODS
5.1 PrintData Pty Ltd accepts payment by credit card (online) or bank transfer.
5.2 Payment is deemed received when cleared funds are credited to PrintData Pty Ltd's bank account.
6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
6.1 Custom labels are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.
6.2 To qualify for a refund or exchange of any other products, the following conditions must be met:
- A return must be requested from our sales team within fourteen (14) days of your purchase date
- A restocking fee of 30% of the sale price applies to all returned items
- All components of the product must be included with your return
6.3 Products must be returned in original, unused, and resaleable condition.
7. CANCELLATIONS
7.1 Cancellation of an order after acceptance of this quotation may result in cancellation fees being applied at the discretion of PrintData Pty Ltd.
7.2 Custom or specially ordered products cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed with suppliers.
8. TITLE AND RISK
8.1 Title in all goods supplied remains with PrintData Pty Ltd until payment is received in full.
8.2 Risk in the goods passes to the customer:
- Upon collection by the customer from PrintData Pty Ltd's premises, or
- Upon delivery by a PrintData Pty Ltd arranged courier
8.3 The customer is responsible for insuring goods from the time risk passes.
9. WARRANTY
Hardware:
9.1 All hardware is covered by a twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty from the date of delivery or installation (whichever is later).
Spare Parts:
9.2 Spare parts are covered by a three (3) month warranty from the date of purchase.
Warranty Conditions:
9.3 Warranty cover is conditional upon:
- The equipment not being damaged through improper handling, misuse, or neglect
- Maintenance, service procedures, and operating instructions being observed
- The equipment being used in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Warranty Exclusions:
9.4 The warranty does not cover:
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Consumable items
- Damage caused by customer misuse, modification, or unauthorised repairs
- Damage caused by environmental factors, power surges, or inadequate power supply
- Costs associated with product removal, reinstallation, or freight
- Consequential loss or damage of any kind
9.5 PrintData Pty Ltd's liability under warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective goods at PrintData Pty Ltd's discretion.
10. INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
Installation:
10.1 Any permanent fixing of equipment to a customer's conveyor line or packaging equipment, such as welding of brackets, guide rails, or similar modifications, will be deemed the responsibility of the purchaser.
10.2 Installation will be carried out between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Any after hours work will be charged at the normal overtime rate.
Commissioning:
10.3 The service engineer will commission the equipment supplied according to the quotation to validate the terms of the warranty.
10.4 Commissioning will entail unpacking and testing the equipment for correct operation.
10.5 Upon completion of commissioning, the equipment will be signed over to the customer's engineer or representative.
Power Supply:
10.6 A 240 volt single phase power supply is required at the point of installation.
10.7 The power supply may require an A.C. line conditioner to be fitted if the power supply is subject to electrical noise. This is to be supplied and fitted by the customer.
11. SUBCONTRACTING
11.1 PrintData Pty Ltd reserves the right to subcontract any part of the work, including but not limited to interstate servicing requirements.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
12.1 To the extent permitted by law, PrintData Pty Ltd's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with this quotation is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied.
12.2 PrintData Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
12.3 Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, warranty, term, or condition, right, or remedy implied or imposed by any statute which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
13. GOVERNING LAW
13.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
13.2 The parties submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
14. GENERAL
14.1 PrintData Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version current at the time of quotation acceptance will apply.
14.2 If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14.3 Failure by PrintData Pty Ltd to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
